Giant Spider Web Envelops Texas Park - 德克萨斯州北边儿的塔瓦科尼湖国家公园发现了史上最牛的蜘蛛网，包住了数棵树，数丛灌木和数亩土地，伸展长度约183米。这并不是一只大蜘蛛的杰作，而是成千上万只蜘蛛们的共同伟业。据说，这张蜘蛛网刚开始时还是白色，就像仙境里的纱，但由于网住了太多的蚊子，现在已经开始变作褐色——最让人头皮发麻的是，有时如果走近，能听到上百万只蚊子在里面“嗡嗡嗡”。而且这回蜘蛛社区搞出如此罕见程度的大合作大行为艺术，原因为何，已经让昆虫学家们抓破了头。

莫非又一部《巴黎最后的探戈》诞生？ 李安的片我不是都捧，比如大受好评的《断背》我就不喜欢。但他真的是特能讨老外欢心的中国导演，因为他能把中西元素结合得非常妙。

既然叫《色，戒》，自然“色”不可少，只是据说很多人都没想到会色到那种程度。李安一定是看着某些情色韩片在国际上瞎咋呼了很长一段时间，不爽了，说：靠，就那水平都能出来忽悠？看我李大侠来出手！于是就自己狠心要弄了一个，要把那些高丽人都灭了。他要告诉世界：咱华人不是保守，是闷骚，发飙的时候赛得过小日本。于是，一泄千里，释放所有的激情，连SM都用上了。

但即便男主女主都三点全露，李安还是坚持说这不色情。因为俺可是李安，能那么低俗吗？只能是你们低俗，你们没看懂，你们想炒做，你们没格调。当然究竟如何，还须以后看导演剪辑版的碟。去大陆的电影院是一定看不出所以然来的，因为那些火暴开放的段落肯定被删大半。为了安抚色男色女们，电影公司又会放出消息说，我们其实没删多少之类的话。鬼才信。

大陆没有分级制，是最大的障碍。我记得我孩提的时候，就曾伙同过一队人去电影院看过色情片（也可按如今的时髦唤做“情色片”）。虽然在记忆中应该没有现在这些色到跌眼睛的片子色，充其量算个三级，但是青少年能摸进放这样电影的戏院里去，本身就是个问题，门口海报上的“少儿不宜”更是形同虚设。现在倒好，连“少儿不宜”这四个字都到处绝迹了。

另外在凤凰台上连续看了两天的《锵锵三人行》，要在电视上喝酒壮胆才敢说话的姜文，在里边儿可是侃得忒来劲。还行，这是个明白人，不装。上回我在某饭局上就听电影老总说《太阳照常升起》好看得不得了，恩，下小半年还是小有期待。

星星这种东西，无论是太阳、月亮、行星、卫星、流星，还是牛氓星、螳螂星，都是可以远观不可近玩的。距离很重要。近了就不美了，不浪漫了，现实得让你想吐。很多人生哲理，其实都可以从看星星数月亮的时间里悟出来。

但是，我还是一直对天文现象着迷，因为它们远，因为它们转瞬即逝，所以我还是觉得它们美，可以遐想，有人还可以许愿，有人还可以学F4唱歌。御夫流星雨9月1日要来，但据说不是怎么适合普通公众观测，除非去天文馆借天文望远镜。

北京的鬼天气让我错过了月全食，估计这回也将盖住肉眼只见零星掉落的星雨。话说回来，最近天象景观频繁，包括传说中的UFO，莫非世道要变？

本来该最养眼的Keira Knightley这回扮相太糟了，不仅妆化得像鬼，还充分暴露了她天生的胸部问题。好吧，我只期待能尽早看到李安使劲说不是色情片的色情片《色·戒》（NC-17级），还有就是姜文的那部《东方照常红起》。这回去威尼斯采访的兄弟们有福了，可以看到未经剪刀手的原版。不知是不是为了遥相呼应这次电影节，前天澳门还特意开了个“威尼斯人”赌场，世界最大的，奢华得让人乍舌。

The British film Atonement kicked off festivities at the 75th anniversary edition of the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday. The 11-day festival will see Chinese director Zhang Yimou, two-time Golden Lion winner for The Story of Qiu Ju (1992) and Not One Less (1999), head the jury and Chinese helmers, including Jiang Wen and Ang Lee, vie for the top prize.

Atonement, the film adaptation of British writer Ian McEwan's best-selling romance novel, tells of how a sensitive girl's tragic misunderstanding of events at an upper-class English home leads to a terrible crime whose consequences continue throughout World War II.

Ang Lee, who won a Golden Lion for Brokeback Mountain in 2005, joined Atonement director Joe Wright, Keira Knightley and co-star James McAvoy on the red carpet at the film festival's opening gala.

British director Kenneth Branagh and mystery thriller Sleuth actors Michael Caine and Jude Law were also on hand as well as Tony Gilroy, director of legal drama Michael Clayton starring George Clooney.

Lee is in Venice presenting his new erotic spy-thriller Lust, Caution, receiver of a NC-17 rating by the Motion Picture Association of America. There are two other Chinese films to watch out for among the 22 selected, including Jiang Wen's The Sun Also Rises and Lee Kang Sheng's Help Me Eros.

The Hong Kong-Taiwan gangster film Blood Brothers, directed by newbie director Alexi Tan and produced by John Woo, will close the Venice film festival on September 8. 

Furthermore, The Obscure by Chinese director Lu Yue will fly the Chinese flag in the Horizons section while -- Umbrella by Du Haibin and Useless by Jia Zhangke -- will compete for the Horizons Documentary Prize.

All but six of the 57 films will be world premieres, including all 22 films in competition. This year's film selection has a heavy Anglophile slant with the US and UK accounting for 11out of the 22 films selected.

Since the Venice film festival has handed best film awards to Chinese directors in its last two outings, people wonder whether it will be three times lucky for China with Zhang Yimou leading the jury. But Zhang told reporters yesterday at the opening that he will judge every film equally and will be utterly unprejudiced.

Other jurors include international acclaimed directors Catherine Breillat, Jane Campion, Emanuele Crialese, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Ferzan Ozpetek and Paul Verhoeven. The awards will take place on the closing evening of the festival on September 8. At the ceremony, American director Tim Burton will be presented with a special Golden Lion for lifetime achievement by American actor Johnny Depp, Burton's muse.

Italian master Bernardo Bertolucci will receive a special award marking the 75th anniversary of the festival.

Among the Hollywood names expected to attend the event are George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Scarlett Johansson, Richard Gere, Cate Blanchett and Susan Sarandon.

The Venice Film Festival, the oldest film festival in the world, was launched in 1932 and since then has taken place almost every year in late August or early September on the island of the Lido, Venice, Italy. However, although this year marks the 75th anniversary of the festival, it is its 64th event due to cancellations due to wars and other troubles.

看着MSN和周围的人都陆续像中奖一样中到了奥运门票，我也开始心慌慌地盼望起来。结果刚刚却收到了一封拒信，告诉我说很遗憾你一张都没有中。

好吧，我承认最近是比较点儿背，人家中十张的都有，我却一张都不中。其实我心里也明白，我要的都是开幕式和篮球决赛这样的好票，抽不到很正常很正常。而且我这种霉人一辈子都与彩票乐透无缘的。看来只有10月再试试了。

不过考虑到最近买了变形金刚又赔了相机把钱折腾了一大笔出去后，这封拒信倒让我可以不至于陷入经济危机的忧虑中去。安慰自己：去不了还省钱了呢。

又找着一个和我同一天生日的明星。那就是Rihanna。她才多小啊，才19岁，但人家就已经出了三张畅销唱片了，名气是一天天看涨，涨得比股票还快。所以，我也很快很自然地被网罗到了她的裙下。别的不说，至少，人家身材火辣，面容妖治，气质超酷，还有一副来自加勒比海沿岸的独特嗓音。我的第一印象就不错。

其实Rihanna刚出道的时候，就长得跟Beyoncé神似。看来Jay-Z老大选新人是拿着他准老婆的模版去套的，就跟张艺谋一样（据传Beyoncé和Rihanna还为Jay-Z争风吃醋过，自然当事人是极力否认）。

但Rihanna决不是只靠在电视上卖青春脸蛋和屁股的女生，也不是Beyoncé-Ciara-Ashanti的合体，她真的在努力做好唱片，做自己的风格。今年夏天刚一来临，这个好女孩就推出了她变“坏”后的首张专辑《Good Girl Gone Bad》。而这，已经是她出道两年内的第三张唱片了，什么速度！简直跟某些港台歌星有得一拼！只是，她的唱片却一点不粗制滥造，倒是一张比一张质量好，这种人不是工作狂是什么？

想在《Good Girl Gone Bad》找招牌式Barbados风情的乐迷应该会惊讶的发现Rihanna变得有多成熟，涉猎的音乐类型和采样又增加了多少。这是一张2007年流行得不能再流行的跳舞碟，从头到尾都没有冷场，曲曲都有打榜的潜力。

《Good Girl Gone Bad》的主打曲《Umbrella》绝对是她迄今为止最好的一支作品，甫一发行就引起轰动，在美国，它是7周的冠军；在英国，它是10周的冠军，创造了历史记录。真是天道酬勤。但最讨我欢心的则是，专辑里的每一首歌，即便全曲并不十分出色，却都必然会有一段诱人到让人心肝发麻的hook，像《Don't Stop The Music》、《Breakin' Dishes》、《Sell Me Candy》之类，就是典型代表。专辑里那些流行、都市、俱乐部和R&B的火线在夏日里自由又激情地燃烧，咝咝地叫；再加上Ne-Yo、Justin Timberlak、Timbaland和大老板Jay-Z的助阵，更增色不少。

专辑明显可以分成两部，分界线大致在《Hate That I Love You》。说实话我更喜欢前半部一些。如果非要给这张唱片找岔的话，那就是Rihanna唱得太high了，有些该注入深情的地方，她硬是怎么唱都把感觉注入不进去，而显得有些机械，有些轻佻，有些酷得没心没肺。但无所谓啦，反正我也听high了，管它呢！要听感伤的，有的是其它唱片可以选择。感谢Rihanna MM，我这个夏天被你带来的愉悦所拯救了。

想都不用想是《云水谣》、《太行山上》和《东京审判》等等类型的片子会获奖。中国也只有这样的电影。（完全名单）

一个“优秀故事片奖”目录下面，得奖的就竟然有10来个片子！仿佛在对所有中国导演说，只要你肯拍主旋律，咱就肯定给你奖。坐排排，分果果。可谁是老大，竞争的公平性和残酷性又如何体现？歌舞升平的晚会，奥运福娃也跑到舞台上晃。拜托，这里是电影奖，关你们这几个吉祥物鸟事。

这些获奖片有多先进呢？思想上有多革命呢？创意上有多亮眼呢？技术上有什么创新呢？在多少电影院上映过呢？票房有几何呢？又有多少观众看过呢？他们凭什么获奖呢？为什么获奖呢？评委是谁？标准是什么？标准究竟有多高？

得不得这个奖，实际上并不是很重要。华表自己都办不下去了，他们自己心里清楚，已经由一年一届改成两年一届。为什么？中国电影体制下产出的电影，加上中国导演的水平，是撑不起了。改一下，少点尴尬。

可要知道一个奖之所以珍贵，正是因为它专业、权威、令人信服，而宁缺不滥。有人走上奥斯卡舞台领奖，要么意外得失魂，甚至泣不成声，就因为那个奖权威、珍贵，不管你是谁，都有可能在好莱坞奋斗一辈子都拿不到一个。但会有人跑到华表奖上做同样的表情有同样的感觉吗？这不过是一个其乐融融的欢喜大团圆。

有人曾讲过一个老笑话：干嘛足球队员非要为一个小球争个你死我活啊，一人发一个不就得了？华表奖还真的一人发了一个。

全套收藏，每个角色都凑了一个（擎天柱买了两个）

本来我觉得这回我看过多于五遍的《变形金刚》电影就已经足够了，很对得起自己了，很给迈克尔·贝面子了，但却发现那种想要补偿童年的情结竟始终挥之不去。小庞同志那天拿着他用100块钱在附近玩具店里买到的迷乱在我面前晃了一下，我就不可自拔地陷入了新一轮收藏欲望中去。

先买了四个，已算大手笔，说玩一玩就好；结果一查，发现还有更好玩的和设计得更好的，于是接着跟进，再买了四个。再一想，既然都已经收集了八个了，全套变形金刚也不过就10来个，不如干脆收齐了算。于是就全买了。什么叫一不做二不休？这就是。

当年的《变形金刚》动画片我没看全，这回《变形金刚》的电影我不满意，而“变形金刚”的系列玩具我小时候也实际上没怎么真正玩过，所以按理说，我其实连半个铁杆都不算。但我就不知道为什么这次肯花下这个本钱。或许真是由于“变形金刚”自身的魔力，或许因为我心情不好想要转移注意力。9月如果华星还上IMAX巨幕版的电影，我肯定还得去捧一次场。

是了，大概每个人都有一个放纵的breaking point，这回我没选天上人间，而选的是“变形金刚”。当然我终究不算铁杆的。那厢王斯宁同学就回头告诉我说，他当年曾花了一万块钱置了几十个变形金刚，那才叫牛A。而且算固定投资，好多玩具现在都在淘宝上涨价啦。跟他比，我是小牛，他是大牛；我是小巫，他是大巫。不服不行。前几天他还把当年最大的变形金刚“宇宙大帝”带来办公室拆封（当时买了三个，但三年都没拆封），好幸运，我也跟着过了把瘾。

不过末了，斯宁警告我道：别陷太深，“变形金刚”这笔买卖是无底洞。我还没那么笨，知道该收手时就收手的道理。我也就是想把电影里的这套会变形的车模和航模收齐就好。至于几年后《变形金刚2》出来时，要是里面有会变形的新角色，比如增加了组合、航母什么的，不知道我还会不会再有今天这样的激情去破财收藏，可至少今天我看着我摆得满满当当的写字台，很兴奋，很开心。

属于玄之又玄。我不练，我不懂。

An international qigong demonstration and exchange conference kicked off in Beijing on Saturday. The demonstration was designed to promote the ancient Chinese health-maintenance exercise and the upcoming Beijing Olympics.

The Chinese Health Qigong Association at the Gymnasium of Basketball Center under the auspices of the Capital Iron & Steel Corporation hosted the 2nd International Health Qigong Demonstration and Exchange. The conference invited qigong practitioners to come to perform and compete.

There are 166 participators making up 35 teams from 12 countries. Participants included: China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Germany, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, Spain, the United States, Canada, Australia and the two Chinese special administrative regions; Hong Kong and Macao.

Demonstrations and competitions take place all day. To date, awards have been presented to the teams from Macao, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Hubei, Anhui and also to the foreign teams from Malaysia, Germany, South Korea and Japan.

Ji Yunxi, the chairman of the Chinese Health Qigong Association, said at the opening that Health Qigong originated from China but belongs to the world. "It has great positive effects on people's physical and psychological health," he noted. Ji said that the conference was a platform for all Health Qigong enthusiasts. It is meant to provide them with the means to exchange techniques and to enhance friendships. The conference will further enhance the development of Health Qigong throughout the international community.

The conference is part of a campaign that promotes the Beijing Olympics. The Chinese Health Qigong Association also wants to use this opportunity to establish an international logo for their new Health Qigong. The logo was co-designed by various experts, scholars and qigong practitioners in 2003.

China's General Administration of Sport has officially recognized health-maintenance qigong since 2002. The following year experts designed four new styles of Health Qigong, based on the ancient Chinese health-maintenance qigong styles. The styles are called: Baduanjin, Wuqinxi, Liuzijue and Yijinjing. These proven techniques have raised health levels, especially among elders, according to researchers, who have monitored the effects of the new Health Qigong since it was created.

The first international symposium on Health Qigong includes several training courses. There is also an examination to qualify for Health Qigong technical degrees. The conference will last six days. 

Qigong has evolved in tandem with Traditional Chinese Medicine. It has a long history. The practice combines various breathing patterns, physical postures and body motions to help people maintain and improve their health. Many physical actions are directly borrowed from world famous Chinese martial arts. Over 350,000 people on the Chinese mainland are adopting this new Health Qigong as their daily exercise. Thousands of other people in various Asian and European countries are also fascinated.
